The Media Business Authority (MBA) wants the community to know that the organization is working hard to bring a quality schedule of events to downtown Media in 2022.

Dining Under The Stars will continue to be the State Street District’s signature attraction, and planning is under way for plenty of festive winter holiday activities from Thanksgiving until the annual New Year’s Eve Ball Drop.

In the past, Super Sundays, the Arts & Crafts Festival, the Halloween Parade and other perennial events have been managed by an outside agency. That agency has chosen to discontinue producing these events in 2022. Additionally, the popular America’s Music Festival Series, which included the Roots Ramble, Blues Stroll, and Jazz by Night, sadly lost Paul Patchel, its lead coordinator, in 2021.

These changes, coupled with two years of pandemic challenges, present the MBA with a unique and exciting opportunity to retain the best elements of Media’s traditional events while introducing new ideas and reimagining a fresh slate of special events that will support the Borough’s businesses and attract visitors to Everybody’s Hometown.
