Meet our Pet of the Month Frankie!
Ms. Frankie Mason is the youngest member of the Mason family. While she was adopted into the family as DeAnna’s dog, Frankie makes it clear that she loves Daddy Fred best! Mom Tina & sister Nicole are okay in Frankie’s eyes as fill ins for meals and doggie needs in Dad’s absence. Most days Frankie can be found napping next to Dad!
When not surf fishing together, Frankie and Fred can often be seen walking around town twice daily. Frankie likes to greet everyone she meets along her way. This allows Fred time to chit chat with many community members. Frankie especially likes strolling around the Courthouse.
Frankie appreciates then beauty and comfort of Media’s tree lined streets and wants to remind fellow residents and visiting pups to be sure their humans clean up behind them. Frankie knows keeping our Hometown Media clean is healthy for all.
While Frankie loves walking around town, she wants to remind owners of the hazards of the cold weather for your pet. Exposure to winter’s dry, cold air and chilly rain, sleet and snow can cause chapped paws and itchy, flaking skin, but these aren’t the only discomforts pets can suffer. Winter walks can become downright dangerous if chemicals from ice-melting agents are licked off of bare paws. To help prevent cold weather dangers from affecting your pet’s health, please heed the following advice from the ASPCA about keeping your pet safe.
