Meet our pet of the month Benny! Benny was a rescue dog from Alabama. He is a sweet, lovable gentle dog. And even though he is a beagle, he rarely barks and never howls. You’ve probably seen him being walked all over the borough. He is good with other dogs and kids, too

Benny wants to remind pet owners that although summertime is the perfect time for your pet to explore the outdoors, this means an increased risk for fleas and ticks. Fleas and ticks are two of the most frequent pet care concerns in America. While prevention is the best defense against these parasites, it’s important to be able to recognize the signs and symptoms of fleas and ticks so you can help your pets if necessary.
