In the summer of 2019 Media borough will begin installation of kiosks within the courthouse area to replace the current outdated meters. This will include the Olive Street parking lot, Front Street from Olive Street to Orange street, Veteran’s Square, as well as a portion of Olive and Orange streets.  As the kiosks are installed, signage will be posted to clearly state the kiosks’ locations and payment methods.

These kiosks will utilize pay-by-license plate, in which the parker will input their license plate into the kiosks and select the amount of parking time.  In addition, the kiosks will provide the capability for parkers to pay by credit card to park; and, most importantly, the ability to pay through your mobile phone via a parking application.  This will enable the parker to receive notices that their parking term is about to expire; AND, to extend the time by phone.

Shown below is the current Luke II kiosk on Veteran’s Square, which is the same as the six kiosks in the Olive Street garage.   All kiosks installed will be the same as the current kiosks, and will all have the same capabilities.
